Privacy Policy

The short version

Sales Studio runs on your Mac. Your screen, camera, and microphone are processed locally on your device and shared only into the video call you choose. We never receive, store, or have access to your demo content. We collect the minimum needed to license the app, keep it working, and understand how our website performs.

What we collect

Download email. When you download the app from our website we ask for your email address. We use it to send a few getting-started tips during your free trial and to let you know about the app. You can unsubscribe at any time, and you can ask us to delete it by emailing support@getsalesstudio.com.

• Licensing: to verify your subscription, the app sends your license key and a device name to our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy.
• Payments: handled entirely by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. We never see or store your full card details. Lemon Squeezy provides us with order information such as your email address and subscription status.
• Crash & error reports: the installed app uses Sentry to automatically send anonymized crash and error diagnostics (app version, macOS version, and technical error details) so we can find and fix bugs. These reports are not used to identify you and do not include your demo content.
• Support diagnostics: if you choose to contact support from inside the app, the report you send may include app version, macOS version, and local app logs. This is only sent when you take that action.
• Website analytics: our website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-first and cookieless. It gives us aggregate visit counts and does not track you across sites or build a profile of you.

What we don't collect

We don't capture, transmit, or store your screen content, camera video, microphone audio, notes, scripts, talking points, or who you present to. That all stays on your machine.

Cookies

Our website does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookieless. Lemon Squeezy may set cookies needed to process your checkout on its own pages.

Data retention

Licensing and order records are retained for as long as your subscription is active and as required for tax and accounting purposes. Crash reports are retained on a rolling basis for debugging. You can request deletion of your personal data as described below.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR or the CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. To make a request, email support@getsalesstudio.com and we'll respond within a reasonable time. We do not sell your personal data.

Third-party services

• Lemon Squeezy: checkout, billing, and license management.
• Sentry: crash and error reporting for the installed app.
• Cloudflare: website hosting and privacy-first analytics.

Each has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data.

International users

Our service providers may process data in the United States and other countries. By using Sales Studio you understand your information may be processed outside your country of residence.

Children

Sales Studio is a business tool and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
